Our Sustainable Approach

Knight Webb are fully committed to working in a way that ensures our working methods and practices seek to minimise the negative environmental impact of the buildings that we deliver for each and every customer.

We do this through a conscious understanding of the use of materials, energy and technology on every project together with a clear comprehension of the broader commercial implications of each project in terms of efficient operational and running costs that are at the forefront of our thinking.

Energy efficiency, over the entire life cycle of a building, is the single most important objective in terms of the sustainable design and function of the buildings we deliever.  We explore different techniques with key members of the delivery team to reduce the energy needs of our buildings and increase their ability to capture or generate their own energy.

We lead the team on sustainability and combine our thoughts to ensure planning compliance and compatibility with development and end user requirements.  We have delivered many buildings to specific BREEAM standards and constantly update our knowledge and approach to a dynamic part of our industry.
