The development of Roxhills’s 240-acre Peterborough Gateway warehouse and distribution park continues with Knight Webb directly involved in the management and delivery of a series of key developments on site since the scheme was brought forward.
The site which is strategically located immediately adjacent to junction 17 of the A1(M) has planning consent for industrial and distribution buildings and, when completed, will total in the order of 5 million sq ft of development.
To date Knight Webb has been responsible for the successful project management and completion of 50,000 sq ft of warehouse accommodation developed on a build to suit basis and leased to leading parcel delivery company DPD, together with an additional 242,000 sq ft development constructed for PA Properties.
Currently, Knight Webb on are onsite presiding over the project management and delivery of a purpose built 170,000 sq ft beverage plant, warehouse and offices for Kingsley Beverages including the installation of a 22,500 bph (bottles per hour) PET line and a 36 000 cph (cans per hour) Can line.
In a seoperate and additional development, Knight Webb has also received an additional instruction from Roxhill to also provide project management, cost consultancy and employers agent services for the construction of three further units to also include a 300,000 sq ft pre-let to DSV together with a manufacturing unit and distribution warehouse.
