Knight Webb are pleased to announce the appointment as project managers, cost consultants and employer’s agent on behalf of Exton Estates and Clowes Developments on the development of a 132,000 sq ft regional sortation centre pre-let to TNT at Clowes site in Dartford.
Construction started on site at the beginning of February, and is expected to be complete by October later this year. The site, which will create 200 jobs, is expected to become fully operational by the second quarter of 2017 will improve efficiency for the firm thanks to its links to the Channel Tunnel and Port of Dover.
The scheme – The Capacity, Dartford – is being developed by Exton Estates with financial backing from CWC Group. The site was a former GSK manufacturing plant bought in April 2013 with consent for 550,000 sq ft of industrial. The TNT prelet is now on site with PC of the 15.35 acre plot due in October 2016.
